Join us on Sunday Mornings at 10:30am for our Weekly Worship Service! This week's service (Nov. 26th) will be outdoors in the Butterfly Garden due to construction in the church. We'll be back inside next week. Bring your coffee and a blanket and enjoy worshipping among the butterflies! Sunday School and Childcare is Available during Worship Each Week.

Communion & Prayer Group

Join us on Tuesday morning's and refresh your spirit with a time of communion, centering, meditation and Lectio Divina. This 'worship experience' lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the conversation encouraged by the Lectio Divina text of the week. Lectio Divina is a form of sacred listening where we listen to a text, poem or scripture read 4 times, before exploring what it might have to say to us on a particular day. Meditation and stillness is also a large part of our time together. Visit any Tuesday morning, and just 'be.' All are welcome.

'Life is Life' Group

“Life isn’t difficult. Life is life!” This support group meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, at 7:00 p.m. Groups will be open for individuals needing support with situational life issues as well as mental health issues. It is a safe, confidential place to share. Please note - THERE WILL BE NO MEETINGS IN JULY - JOIN US AGAIN IN AUGUST! All are welcome!

Faithfully Aging (for Women)

The Faithfully Aging Group meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month, at 2:30pm. This time together is an opportunity to share concerns and questions about aging - whether they are physical, mental and/or spiritual. It is an informal time where we might be discussing an article or book, or just supporting each other and sometimes laughing at ourselves as we discuss the trials, tribulations and yes - the many joys and blessings of growing older. All are welcome!

Eckhart Tolle Reading Group

The Eckhart Tolle Reading Group meets on Wednesday Evening's, from 5:00pm to 6:20pm. The group began as a way for people to come together and read and discuss the spiritual writing of Eckhart Tolle. They are now exploring other authors. Their night also includes a time of guided meditation. All are welcome!

Thursday Morning Spiritual Study Group

Join us each Thursday, from 10:30am to Noon, for our version of a 'Bible Study.' We call it the Spiritual Study Group instead because we enter into the realm of all sorts of issues of faith in the theological, biblical, spiritual, political, economical and cultural realms. Through books, DVD Series, videos, coffee and conversation, we attempt to broaden our vision of what it means to be 'socially and theologically progressive' Christians in our modern day and age. All are welcome any Thursday. We may be into a particular topic (they do change often), but the conversation is always broad enough for anyone to plug right in. Join us!

Faith Stitchers

The Faith Stitchers are a group of sewers of all ages and skill levels that gather twice a month to engage in a variety of ministry projects and enjoy social time together while sewing! They sew stockings for the annual Grace House Gift Ministry; they sew sheets for a local childcare center, where many of the children are from lo-income families; they sew costumes for various plays and pageants here at Faith UCC and so much more. The Faith Stitchers meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday's, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. You are welcome for the whole time or just a part of it. They meet at a studio in Dunedin. Call the church office (727-799-4602) for more information.

Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap is held on the First Thursday of each month, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, during the 'program year' - August through May (no meetings in June and July). The venue for this can change, so please call the Church Office for the location of the next gathering. June details will be coming soon!

Justice Sunday

Join us for worship this weekend as we recognize our FAST (Faith and Action for Strength Together) Ministry and get inspired to partner with FAST to advocate for local and statewide justice in the coming months! If you feel 'disconnected' from FAST or are not sure exactly what FAST is, well this service is for you! FAST is a faith-based community organizing coalition composed of over 40 churches, synagogues and mosques that put theological differences aside to come together in numbers for the sake of justice in our communities. Learn more on Sunday!

Diane Chaplaincy

During this service, we will also be saying goodbye to our Sunday School Leader Diane Urwiller, who is leaving to pursue chaplaincy. Diane has been with us for a year and half, working hard on lesson plans each week to inspire and teach the kids about the spiritual life. We are grateful for her time with us and will celebrate her ministry this Sunday! Stay tuned for more information on the Sunday School to come.

Reinventing Power

Reinventing Power: America’s Renewable Energy Boom takes us across the country to hear directly from the people making our clean energy future achievable. Over the film’s 50 minutes, you’ll meet people in eight states whose lives were changed by the renewable energy industry while exploring various aspects of the clean energy industry from innovation to installation. This movie is recommended by Alan Brand - the Solar Shepherd - who has been helping people and churches realize their dream of going solar for years! Here is a message from Alan Brand, The Solar Shepherd -

Grace House Christmas Mitten Tree

The Grace House Christmas Mitten Tree is up. The tree is full of additional mittens today.

Each mitten has one side of need and the other side with wants. We ask that you not spend more than $40 per child. Some items on the mitten will be more than $40. Its preferred to get one item from the need list and one from the want list. It is important that we keep the dollar amount consistent so that there is equity in our gift giving. If you prefer to give money, please note on your donation that it is to be given for the Grace House Mitten Tree.

With Music and Justice for All

Nashville recording artist Anne E. DeChant will be performing her music with special poetry by Frye Gilliard.  A $15 donation is recommended. All are welcome!

Hors d'oeuvres and wine served at 4:00 p.m.

Concert and poetry reading begins at 5:00 p.m.
